UPDATE: FAIR is No Longer a Sponsor of the National Tea Party Convention

by Lee Doren on January 14, 2010

I recently argued that the Federation for American Immigration Reform (“FAIR”) should be immediately banned from the National Tea Party Convention.  I took this position because FAIR is not an immigration group at all.  Instead, it is a radical environmentalist front group the supports population control.  In fact, its views are so radical that it endorses dangerous ideas like Zero-Population Growth (“ZPG”) and Negative Population Growth (“NPG”).

Well, it looks like someone must have seen my recent video and blog post because FAIR is no longer listed as a sponsor.  Finally, we get to hear some good news coming from the Convention.

Good. We don’t want the enemy on our side.

I'm glad that FAIR is no longer a sponsor. I'm still not really sure what to think about this Tea Party Convention though.

The convention is sold out so you don't have to worry about going. =)

Are they just "No longer listed" but still a co-sponsor, or really out? That's the question. I see major growing pains here.
