I just wrote a column for Big Journalism regarding the reporting of the Tea Party event. I found it interesting that Nicholas Kristof sets such a high standard for reporting in the Congo, employing rational skepticism with all sources, and yet many people in the media today ignore those standards when reporting about the Tea Party protests. Click here if you would like to read the entire column.
Sadly, I think truth is becoming irrelevant when it comes to Tea Party reporting.
